Nuffield Research Placements offer year 12 students the opportunity to work alongside professional scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians

Make a Smile is a charity that offers fantastic volunteering opportunities for sixth formers.

This volunteering programme gives students the opportunity to work with young children and put on events such as musical concerts.

University of London host hundreds of free taster courses in multiple subject areas for year 12 students.

Insight to university formally know as Headstart is an online programme allowing students to experience STEM studies at universities and the career opportunities these subjects lead to.

Free online courses from top universities and specialist organisations

Free Summer Schools at the University of Oxford.

The University of Cambridge run Subject Masterclasses for year 12 students to give them a flavour of undergraduate study and an introduction to the university. 

The Sutton Trust offer a range of free Summer Schools, Taster courses and Support programmes where Year 12 students get mentoring from top universities and companies.
